Nobody can ever dispute the overall and holistic benefit that walking has on an individuals body and mind. Apart from the usual morning walk, there are many other ways such as climbing the steps instead of taking the elevator or perhaps walking it down to the park instead of going in the car, that can boost your daily regime of walking better.
Keeping this in mind a health awareness program commercial encouraging increasing daily activity has been developed by Aaron Lehr Health and Wellness Intern Grand Valley State University. The basic aim is to “encourage everyone to add a couple of extra steps to their daily lives.â€
It is geared to people in Michigan, which deals with an alarming Obesity epidemic, but has an important message to everyone to increase understand the importance of walking.
