After performing the Bronchial Mudra to ease acute attacks, asthma patients will also find it useful to perform the ‘asthma mudra’ as a long term treatment for avoiding the recurrence of acute attacks of asthma.
Technique for asthma mudra:
Press together finger nails of the middle fingers and keep others fingers extended.
This mudra has to be practiced 4-5 times a day for at least 7-10 minutes.
There are certain facts which an asthma patient should keep in mind. They are listed below:
During cold weather one should never breathe through their mouth because the bronchial tubes will become inflamed and congested
Try not to be in a hurry because every incidence of stress activates the adrenal glands which liberate adrenaline which in turn promotes congestion and constriction of bronchial tubes.
