It is believed that improved circulation to the scalp is one of the top home remedies for hair growth. Exercise in general improves circulation. Special poses such as Sarvangasan or the ‘shoulderstand’ enhance blood flow to the head and scalp, and are beneficial if done at least once a day. Those with neck or back problems should not indulge in such exercises though.

Sleep –

We have previously discussed how crucial sleep is for general health. It is during sleep that the body repairs wear and tear optimally. Growth hormones are also released during sleep. With inadequate rest, the body is not fully recovered from the previous day’s work. This affects hair growth too. So switch off your smartphone, get off your PC and tell yourself that it’s not OK to abuse your beautiful body by refusing sleep.
